Celebrating 50 years of soulful hits!“The Pavarotti of soul singers.” – Jon Pareles, The New York Times.
With twenty albums and multiple chart-topping hits to his credit, Peabo Bryson has established a career as one of the premier male vocalists in contemporary music of the last 50 years, and was the first artist in music history to have separate records topping four different charts – including the crossover pop/R&B smash “If Ever You’re in My Arms Again.” His Grammy and Academy Award-winning hits include themes for the Disney animated hits Beauty and the Beast (“Beauty and the Beast” with Celine Dion) and Aladdin (“A Whole New World” with Regina Belle).
Other notable hits include “Tonight I Celebrate My Love,” (with Roberta Flack), “Reaching for the Sky,” “I’m So Into You,” “Can You Stop the Rain,” and his remake of the late Al Wilson’s “Show & Tell,” his first #1 R&B single, for which he keeps the torch lit in all of his shows.
